Radplicity vs 360Learning

A subject-matter expert can build training without being given the keys.

Authoring and administration are different jobs, and handing somebody the first should not require handing them the second.

If the people who know the material are not the people who administer the platform

Three things we would want you to test.

Not a list of everything — the platform page has that. These are what we would put in front of somebody in this position, and each one is something you can check for yourself in a demo rather than take on trust.

  • A role that builds training and cannot publish it

The content creator role builds courses and cannot publish them, cannot see learners and cannot reach administration — which is what makes it safe to hand to an agency or an internal expert.

  • Permissions are scoped to people, not to the whole organization

A manager who may edit their own team cannot edit anybody else’s. The scope is part of the permission check itself, so it cannot be forgotten in one screen and enforced in another.

  • Everything anybody changed is on the record

Every change writes an audit row in the same transaction as the change itself, so the log cannot disagree with what happened.

Ask both of us

The questions that separate learning platforms, and our answers.

Take this list to 360Learning unchanged. None of these is written so that only we can answer it, and every answer below links to the thing that backs it up.

How does the price change as more people use it?

Per-learner pricing turns every new hire, every seasonal worker and every customer you want to train into a line item — which is how training budgets end up deciding who gets trained.

Radplicity

Radplicity plans are priced on the plan, not per learner. What separates the plans is capability and capacity, and every limit is published on the pricing page rather than discovered later.

What happens to somebody’s training record when they change role?

A transfer, a group change or a rule edit changes what is expected of somebody. Whether it also erases what they already did is a question worth asking out loud, because finding out afterwards is expensive.

Radplicity

It never alters what they did. Corrections are adjustment records with a reason and an audit entry — losing a group or changing a role never deletes training history.

How records and assignments work →
Can a learner tell why they were assigned something?

“Why do I have to do this?” is the commonest question an administrator gets. Whether it can still be answered six months later depends entirely on what was recorded at the time it happened.

Radplicity

Every assignment records its source — what caused it, which rule or group or person, and under which version. Conflicting sources are all kept; precedence decides what is in force, it never deletes the reason.

Is AI something I can turn off?

Not everybody may put their people’s data through a model, and for some organizations that is a governance position rather than a preference.

Radplicity

AI is included in every Radplicity plan and arrives switched off. An organization can prohibit it outright, and that setting overrides plan, permission and background job alike. Everything the platform does, it does without it.

What the AI controls do →
What does the accessibility story actually consist of?

This one is easy to answer with a statement of intent. The useful follow-up is what happens automatically when somebody ships a screen that fails a check.

Radplicity

Accessibility is a build gate here: automated checks run against the real screens on every change and a failure stops the release. A branding palette that fails contrast cannot be saved.

How we build and what we check →
Can I get my data out, and in what shape?

The answer decides how hard it is to leave, which is worth knowing before you arrive.

Radplicity

People, training records, completions and audit history export as CSV. Learners can request an export of their own record, and an erasure request is handled without destroying the training history other records depend on.

Data, export and privacy →
How many separate audiences can one account serve?

Employees, dealers and customers tend to need different branding, different catalogs and different front doors. Ask what that costs — in licences and in reporting — before you need the second one.

Radplicity

One Radplicity account can run several portals, each with its own domain, branding and catalog, with the same person appearing once rather than as three accounts.

How portals work →
What happens when I republish a course people are part-way through?

The dangerous answers are “everyone restarts” and “nobody notices” — and both are usually discovered after it happens.

Radplicity

Publishing creates a version, and a completion record pins the version it was earned against. Republishing moves the right learners and leaves everybody who already finished exactly where they were, and it tells you which is which before it runs.

Versions and republishing →

Already using something and thinking about moving?

Migration is a planning conversation before it is anything else: what you are moving, what has to stay intact, and what you want the next system to make easier. The one you are leaving matters less than knowing why you are leaving it.

5% off your first year

Available to eligible new Radplicity customers migrating from another learning platform. Applies to the first year of a new annual subscription and is confirmed during the sales process. Not combinable with other promotions. Separate from the 2-year price lock, which is included with every plan.
